The A1 K9 Team

Richard relocated to come and work for A1 K9 leaving his parents behind in Nottingham when he had previously worked for another dog training company that closed down. Being mad about dogs Richard originally visited us, coming to see our facilities and to watch us training. Not happy just to stand on the sidelines and watch it was not long before he had a lead in his hand working one of our import dogs, jokingly one of our other staff members said you should come and work for us not for one minute imagining that he would up roots and move to Wales. That same afternoon he decided to give up the job that he had working for a sign company and four weeks later he started his new job with us.

Richard has now been with us since 0ctober 2005 and during the time that he has worked at A1K9 he has gained much experience in the different ways that we train, proving himself as an invaluable member of the team.

His natural rapport with the dogs coupled with the training he has undergone has resulted in excellent trained dogs and some very happy customers (with letters of thanks to prove it) we look forward to seeing Richard go from strength to strength as his knowledge broadens.
