Dogs to the Costa del Sol
Since the beginning of 2006 we have had numerous enquiries from all parts
of Europe that have resulted in sales of our personal protection dogs to many locations
within mainland Europe. We have supplied dogs to the Netherlands, France, and several dogs to the Costa del Sol. All the dogs supplied to Spain went to British ex pats and one involved Gaynor traveling with the dog to do the handover on site at the customers property- it's a hard life!
For customers in Europe considering one of our dogs, please do not be put off by transportation issues, pets passports and the perceived difficulty of arranging handovers, as over the years we have sent dogs to many destinations and have if required travelled with the dog to give handler training at the customers location.
We routinely use Pet Couriers a Defra approved pet carrier based in Southern Spain. to provide delivery and collection services for us throughout Europe.
Pet Couriers are a highly professional company that have to date successfully completed several assignments for us, both picking up from our suppliers and delivering dogs to our discerning customers across Europe.
Whoever once said to me that protection dogs have a
hard life obviously wasn't banking on them ending up in
places like this - I'm coming back as a dog next time!
Gaynor accompanied Gall to Spain and settled him in for
a week whilst doing the handover with his new owners.
They are delighted with him and have already recomended
us to their friends who have since ordered a dog.

January 2007 and another 4 A1 K9 dogs are going to the sun!
Spain is not only proving to be a popular holiday destination, but it is also becoming a country with an ever increasing number of A1 K9 dogs, another four of these highly trained K9's are leaving the cold and rainy climate of Wales to go and live in the sun. One lucky female is going as a companion to Gall pictured below relaxing by the pool.
If there's such a thing as re - incarnation I'm coming back as an A1 K9 dog next time!

Samantha has been trained in obedience and personal protection by A1 K9 and was originally sourced in the Czech republic by A1 K9.
Interestingly, Pet Couriers originally transported her from the Czech republic to A1 K9's HQ in Swansea prior to training and then delivered her to Alicante where she now lives with her new owner.
This dog is certainly a well seasoned traveller and is now enjoying her new life in the sun!
Above Bolco, a trained A1 K9 Personal Protection dog is being put through his paces by Gaynor and his new owner during the handover that took place near to Marbella in Southern Spain.
Bolco was transported to Spain by Pet Couriers along with Peggy, Samantha and Gall who had been back to us for a holiday and some refresher training.
Bolco was not long finding his feet and is settling in very well, already having become an integral part of the family unit. He lives with a family of 4 and has 4 small dogs for company, 3 poodles and a pomeranian.
