Debbie originally came to visit A1K9 during her annual holidays whilst she was with her previous employer, where she worked and thoroughly enjoyed managing a busy boarding kennels close to Liverpool. After spending the week in our company, she realised that training Personal Protection Dogs was something that she enjoyed doing and decided that this was the direction in which she wanted her career to go.
She returned to Liverpool and discussed with her family the impending move from Liverpool to South Wales and having decided that her future was to be with A1K9; she handed in her notice and made the move 200 miles south.

Since joining A1K9, Debbie has progressed immensely in her ability to train and understand her canine friends and has equally brought with her much experience of the kennel management skills that she learned with her previous employers. Having had seven years hands on experience in catering for all aspects of canine and feline care, her animal husbandry and customer service are second to none.

Watching Debbie working, her love for dogs is unquestionable and during this past year she has gained a good basic knowledge in how we train A1K9 Personal Protection Dogs, becoming a much valued part of our team.
Debbie’s helpful attitude and charming personality have made her a popular member of staff with her work colleagues and more importantly, our customers.
