To Gaynor

Thank you so much for your one to one with me the other Wednesday, everything you said and showed me with Jo has helped enormously. Jo has now met my mother and as you told me what to do and how to hold his head he doesn’t bark at her now and even licked her hand. When I have taken him out around the village, I have stopped people, explained the situation to them and they have been happy to pat him and make a fuss. I think he has been a bit confused about it all but he seems happy to have a fuss made of him and he seems more relaxed. We had a trip down to the beach at the weekend which I think he found very strange, he didn’t pay much attention to the sea or the sand, it wad the other people on the beach he was more shocked at. After our walk across the beach, we sat on a wall by the shops and he sat beside me without barking, watching people passing us. He wasn’t scared and dint growl once. We have also been to the vet, had the first lot of jabs and he didn’t growl or bark at the vet and he happily let the vet examine him and we had some antibiotics for his ear…..thanks for pointing that out too!!
I will keep in touch and let you know how he’s getting on, but I just wanted to thank you so much for the guidance you gave me and to tell you how much it has all helped and been appreciated.

Thanks again

Samantha Hughes
